About Us

St John's has been blessed with a beautiful Sandstone building for its worship, and a prominent building in the Glebe Point Road streetscape. The building was designed Edmund Blackett, and was opened in 1857.

The Church building of St John's also boasts an exquisite Organ, which has been restored and retuned. You can hear this Organ played on the first and third Sunday of every Month in our Worship service at 9.30am.

The Church building, and its Courtyard are all listed in the NSW Heritage Register, and are a beautiful reminder European Church History in Glebe.
