GAPP is a friendly drop-in place open from 10-12:30 on Monday and Wednesday mornings where people are welcome to come and chat, share a cup of tea/coffee and a bite to eat.
Our vision for GAPP is an inclusive and safe place for the Glebe and surrounding community. We have a caring, solution-focused approach, aimed at helping people to recognise their own personal resources at the same time as identifying, drawing on and partnering with external supports.
Food and support:

Talk to our Community Workers for assistance such as arrangements with local chemist/op-shop, extra food and other assistance.
Bill help
EAPA help for people experiencing difficulty paying their energy bill because of a short-term emergency
take home meals
Most Mondays we have fresh microwave meals available to take home
Fin-well
An Anglicare Fin-Well Community Worker is available on-site Wednesdays

For an appointment you should generally:
live in area, ie: Glebe, Rozelle, Leichhardt, Annandale, Camperdown, Forest Lodge Balmain, Pyrmont or Ultimo
provide a copy of your latest Income Statement (eg: Centrelink or housing) if applicable and available
bring any other relevant paperwork that shows evidence of hardship or relates to your issue
If you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you can ask to see our Aboriginal community worker when you make your appointment.
NOTE: We do NOT have funding to offer direct financial assistance such as vouchers, rent assistance, fuel/funeral transport, emergency accommodation & etc.

BBQ
On the second Monday of each month, GAPP hosts an officer from Homes NSW for feedback on public housing issues, and puts on a BBQ lunch. Come and enjoy the company of other local residents over lunch.
